This is a great place with lots of greenery some streams and some hikes that are easy down to the ocean. I would say it's great for hikers of any age.
There are hiking trails near the steam and east up the mountain. The beach is about a mile from the parking lot. People surf that beach. Most of the year you have to wade across the stream to get to the beach.
